Welcome to the Copywriting For You FAQ page. This is your one-stop resource for all things related to my services as a freelance blogger in the Twin Cities. As a copywriter in Woodbury, Minnesota, I’m here to help. Whether you’re looking to supercharge your online presence, refine your marketing copy, or simply understand more about what I do, you’ve come to the right place. Below, I’ve gathered the most commonly asked questions to guide you on your path to more effective and engaging content.

A blog is a digital platform where individuals or groups regularly publish content, often centered around a specific theme or subject. It acts as a personal or professional space for sharing insights, experiences, and information. A blog post, however, is an individual article or entry within a blog, focusing on particular topics or events. While “blog” refers to the entire website or blog section, “blog post” signifies a single article within that site. Despite this distinction, some people might use the terms interchangeably, leading to confusion between the overall platform and its individual pieces of content.

Yes, your company can greatly benefit from having a blog. Blogs establish authority, engage your audience, and improve SEO. They provide a platform to share valuable insights, industry updates, and relevant content, positioning your business as a trusted resource. Regular posts drive traffic, nurture leads, and can ultimately convert readers into customers.

A copywriter is a professional writer tasked with crafting persuasive and engaging promotional content. They create materials like landing pages, emails, ads, and websites to captivate and convert the target audience. At Copywriting For You, I specialize in delivering compelling copy for websites and landing pages, ensuring your message resonates and drives results.

A copywriter writes to persuade and engage readers with compelling content, focused on marketing goals. They aim to drive action and conversions. On the other hand, a blogger primarily writes to inform, educate, and entertain, often sharing insights, knowledge, or stories. Both play vital roles in online content creation, serving distinct purposes.

Yes, I do occasionally utilize AI tools to enhance my writing. However, I don’t rely on AI to create entire articles. Instead, I use AI on a prompt-by-prompt basis to clarify complex concepts and maintain content originality, especially when crafting similar pieces for clients. It’s a valuable tool in my writing process, but human creativity remains at the core.

If you are getting started with blogging, it is natural to wonder, how long should a blog post be? And the answer is that it really depends on what you are trying to convey. Writing a long blog post just to try to hit a word count isn’t always the best strategy.  That said, the ideal range for an ideal blog post is 1,500 to 2,500 words. If it makes sense for your content, aim for 2,450 words.

While the frequency and cadence of your blog posts can really vary based on your availability to commit to blog writing and your budget, I suggest that you set a starting goal of twice per month. Over time, getting to once or twice a week is even better.

The best way to start is to contact me on Upwork or LinkedIn. If you want to work on Upwork, all you need to do is send me a contract with your milestone, and we can set up a call to get started. If you prefer a direct working relationship, I will send you a Service Agreement and Schedule to outline our working agreement. Once we’re aligned, we can get started.
